Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti General Trading Company is looking for Fitness Consultant to their Gym as per the following details:

Position Scope:

The Fitness Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members, selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members and servicing memberships.

Major Responsibilities:

• Must complete all modules of Lightspeed and practical training.
• Generates sales through Company–sponsored (walk-ins and TI’s) and employee sponsored (outreach and promotions) sources.
• Maintains accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored sources.
• Follows up on all prospects by using established Gym sales systems.
• Conducts gym tours using established Gym sales systems.
• Call members 2/10/30 days after joining
• Conducts telephone inquiries using established Gym sales systems.
• Exhibit extensive knowledge of services and facility.
• Must establish and maintain a minimum required referral program as defined by Gym Company standards.
• Maintain planner using established sales systems.
• Must be current on Gym Company pricing and promotion schedule.
• Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies.
• Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations.
• Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills.
• Works with other staff member to insure that the gym maintains the required standards for cleanliness and maintenance, and reports all cleanliness and maintenance issues to the General Manager for entry into the maintenance log.
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Prospect via referrals, cold calls, outreach and community activities.
• Prepares for, attends and actively participates in sales meetings.
• Treats all staff and members with a friendly, positive attitude that promotes a pleasant environment.
• Supports other staff in achieving their goals.
• Participates in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager.
• Successfully completes all training courses.
• Must be able to successfully perform key job requirements such as gym tours, telephone inquiry, counselor planner audit, guest card audit, lead box program, referral program and corporate outreach program.
• Ability to achieve acceptable level of sales memberships per month.
