Job Description
A Leading Kuwaiti Construction and Contracting Company is looking for Commercial Manager as per the following details:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15 years in the field.
• Adequate knowledge in Project Execution, Quantity Surveying and Cost/Financial Reporting (Contracts agreement management)
• Strong Managerial / Legal Skills. Strong Negotiating Analysis Skills
• Managing, Protecting and Pertaining the Company’s Contractual Rights.
• Approving pre qualification and selection of subcontractors
• Approving all Pre Contractual, Pre Award and Post Award of Subcontractors Quotations and Contracts as per Company Policy and Procedures within the Project Budget.
• Reviewing and approving Subcontracts Tender, Contracts and Agreements
• Reviewing and monitoring the Subcontractors productivity
• Approving, reviewing and replying Subcontract Claims
• Ensuring proper cost reporting and updating resources of cost analysis of subcontractors
• Attending meeting, PCR review meetings in Division and with Project Managers and D.O. regarding the Subcontractors productivity
• Approving the variation orders for Subcontractors as per urgent work requirements.
• Approving and reviewing and controlling the payment of Subcontractors
• Conducting and reviewing Post Tender meetings
• Approving claim letters and replies
• Reviewing with Project Managers, Project Directors and D.O. for the Claims and Claim letters for both Clients and Subcontractors
• Approving with Finance Department the Subcontractor’s payments
