Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti Investment Company is looking for Vice President-Administration as per the following details:

To establish and implement Administration related policies, procedures and systems for pro-active, efficient and timely service and support to the organisation on administrative matters.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategy and Business Planning
Contribute to the development of the overall Division strategy and formulate business plans and budgets for the Administration department in line with the strategy to ensure effective performance and achievement of business objectives.

Prioritization
Prioritize the activities of the department in such a way so as to deal with critical matters and time-bound assignments effectively.

Internal Customer Focus
Discuss complex issues or problems relating to administrative aspects with the internal customers and help in resolving these matters satisfactorily.

External focus
Deal personally with key external parties (e.g. service providers, suppliers, government departments etc.) in order to obtain a faster decision or to facilitate work speedily.

General Services
Monitor the quality of general services provided and intervene where necessary to ensure all processes and systems are implemented as per expected standards.

Troubleshooting and Guidance
Troubleshoot problems referred by department personnel and guide them in understanding policy and procedural matters.

Policies and Procedures
Define policies and procedures for various administrative processes; make decisions involving policy implementation and help department staff to understand implications of policies and procedures.

Best Practices and Standards:
Remain abreast of best practices and international practice standards in the Administration field in order to incorporate high quality standards within the function

People Development
Guide, motivate and develop subordinates to work together as a team and display high levels of performance.

Direction of Subordinates
Organize the distribution of work to teams / groups within the department to ensure that all activities in the Administration function are carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualifications and Experience
• University degree in any discipline. Good knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law.
• 8-10 years experience in administrative and service oriented functions in the corporate sector with around 3 years in an executive position
