Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti Group of Companies doing business in Hospitality, Real Estate and Education Sector is looking for Secretary as per the following details:

Responsible to provide a complete secretarial/clerical service including office management, time management, correspondence, receiving visitors, handling mail, telephone switchboard, and directing inquiries.

• To answer phones, take and relay messages, direct calls and schedule appointments;
• To answer routine questions, direct caller to appropriate area, take accurate and complete messages;
• To log information on calls received, where required and maintains detailed and accurate records;
• To receive and distribute incoming mail; review and evaluate mail to identify those items requiring priority attention;
• Perform reception duties in and efficient, professional and courteous manner;
• To edit and proofread a wide range of documents including correspondence, presentations, reports, and publications;
• To respond to issues that may not be addressed by established policies or procedures;
• To schedule various meetings, make board room arrangements, obtaining and furnish materials, equipment and food service as necessary;
• To file data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed;
• To operate a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, fax, calculator, shredding machine and photocopy machine;
• To maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures;
• To establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the general public;
• To order and maintain relevant office supplies for effectiveness of personal duties;
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role;
• To perform other duties as assigned by the superiors.
