Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti Aviation Group is looking for VP - Human Resources (Kuwaiti National) as per the following details:

Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities of the Company to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance
Compensation:
• Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
• Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Recruitment/On boarding/Exits:
• Work with the business to identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants
• Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits
• Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
• Ensure that the Company complies with the Kuwaitization requirements and foster partnerships, training, internships to motivate skilled Kuwaitis to work for the Company
• Employee Relations:
• Maintaining HR manuals and procedures
• Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures
• Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers together with the Head of Security.
• Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and harassment, and recommend needed changes
• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
• Performance Management:
• Manage the performance review cycle in partnership with management
• Set the required forms, guidelines and times lines
• Implement the incentive scheme in collaboration with all stakeholders
Development:
• Analyze non-mandatory training needs outside flight operations to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs
• Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities of an organization.
• Linking the training and development requirements to performance management
• Develop Career progression plans in coordination with management

Reporting:
• Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
• Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.
• Prepare and present HR productivity reports for management by department
• Act as the General Secretary of HRC by preparing regular meetings and taking the minutes accordingly
• Liaise closely with the Director of Human Capital at the Company in all HR strategy and policy issues and in his role as the Chairman of the HRC.
• Direct Report to the CEO.
