Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti Insurance Company is looking for Finance Manager as per the following details:

To study and analyze the Company's financial positions, estimate and forecast the cash inflows and cash outflows and to prepare the respective annual budget, supervise accounting activities of the Company or accounting activities related to insurance, present reports on the Company's financial position and cost control, record the budget items, and perform accounting related to costing and auditing.

Key accountabilities:
- To prepare the Company's budget through coordination with the different departments, control costs, keep the necessary accounting records, and prepare the closing statement as per the financial regulations in place.
- To estimate cash inflows and outflows in order to determine, direct, and use surpluses in a suitable manner and forecast and schedule surpluses over one year or more in order to help take current and future investment and strategic decisions.
- To provide recommendations to Top Management on the effective use of available financial resources and on developing the Company's activities and financial position.
- To participate in proposing and carrying out the financial policies and administrative decisions related to finance, and facilitate internal and external auditing.
- To prepare disbursement orders for all financial payments, prepare and sign checks and drafts, and coordinate with the external parties and Company's departments regarding the budget and general expenses.
- To record all accounting entries and transactions on an individual basis and maintain data related to fixed assets and calculate the respective periodic depreciation.
- To disburse payments based on monitoring execution of contracts concluded between the Company and third parties in coordination with the related departments.
- To conduct financial analysis on the business costs, insurance activities performed by the Company and related returns, compare the actual performance to the budgeted, and prepare and submit periodic reports on the Company's financial position to the Top Management.
- To keep, develop, and update accurate and adequate accounting records and systems to enable the Company to obtain accounting data that reflects the Company's performance level at all times under any circumstances for the strategic planning purposes.
- To ensure availability of an integrated information system and adopt the new and developed methods to clearly and accurately use such information that include all financial and accounting data.
- To direct the training and development of personnel in the Financial Affairs Dept. and monitor their performance evaluation.
- To ensure enforcement of the Company's decisions and circulars and compliance with the approved policies, regulations, and procedures.
- To provide Top Management with the required reports, statistics, and data.
- To perform any other duties related to the job.

Graduate - BA in Accounting
Professional Certification - CPA - Certified Public Accountant
Professional Certification - CMA - Certified Management Accountant
