Job Description
• 10-15 years in management of Applications, Enterprise Systems, Technical Support Systems, Network Security, and Architecture.
• B.E./BSc Computers/Masters IT.
• Speak, read and write in English/Arabic added advantage.
• Develop the strategy and direction of Information Systems and Technology by short term and long term planning for IT management and evaluating the corresponding business risk.
• Coordinate the operational plans for meeting current and future information and technology needs for ARASG.
• Ensure guidelines and policies pertaining to IT are followed and implemented.
• Prepare, present and review the annual IT budget and review effective utilization.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the protection of enterprise IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the enterprise.
• Supervise the process of end user query resolution regarding CISCO, desktops, windows skills etc. and instructing facilities for the same.
• Ensure daily update on IT systems from facilities and systems and help them in prioritizing of work.
• Responsible for implementing procedures for disaster management and IT security issues.
• Promote computer education in the organization and prepare a time to time training schedule for the same.
• Evaluate and approve new application development projects for various application domains and IT acquisition contracts. Drive vendor selection in all IT related procurement.
• Direct and manage large complex assignments and integrated IT initiatives. Participate in leadership and direction for new systems development and implementation, system enhancements and improvements.
• Spearhead change management initiatives in collaboration with top management to facilitate the adoption of new or improved IT processes.
• Provide support to the architecture of system, corporate website administration by adding the technical perspective in branding and communication.
• Play an integral role in data security and related issues, educating employees about the pitfalls.
• Budgeting of IT expenditure for new systems and conduct in-depth study while replacing old equipments.
• Formulate policy and procedures for IT usage such email policy, IT system usage policy, phone policy etc. in the organization and ensure that it is communicated to the employees.
• Be a part of various committees like IT committee, Marketing committee to provide an IT perspective to issues and suggest pragmatic solutions.
• Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions for future.
• Assist the management in the fulfilment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
