Job Description
A leading Kuwaiti Group of Companies is looking for General Manager/Deputy CEO as per the following details:

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall planning and development of the electronics division in all its offerings (electronics, appliances, mobiles and accessories). Develop budgets and targets by product line and launch short & long term marketing and sales plans designed at repositioning the Group to become a market leader in the electronics sector. Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies all geared towards unlocking the full potential of all sales channels; retail & wholesale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day operations
2. Design strategy and set goals and key performance indicators
3. Short term and long term planning and set clear objectives in terms of
a) Market positioning
b) Revenue/Sales
c) Profits
4. Successfully negotiate with suppliers pricing, margins, and support wherever and whenever needed to enable the electronics sector become more competitive and profitable at the same time.
5. Liaison with key support services of the Group (Finance, HR, Admin., Legal) to achieve both sector and Group’s objectives.
6. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to the Board of Directors.
8. Ensure highest standards in all aspects of the operation; showroom personnel, brand managers, warehousing, safety, and quality control.
9. Manage conformance to company and supplier standards and the quality system as documented.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Achieve annual budgets and revenue targets as set – out by the board of directors
• Provide vision and leadership to all employees
• Motivate direct reports and manage the development of department staff
• Analyze, optimize and rationalize all assets of the operation
• Development and Maintain positive relations with both supplier and customers
• Identify new supplier representation or alliance opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:
BSc/BA in Business or Engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
 Proven experience as a C-Level Manager or similar executive role in electronics, home appliances, and mobiles and accessories sector.
 Experience in strategic planning and budgeting
 Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
 Strong analytical ability
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
 Problem-solving aptitude
